I ordered a replacement filter from Mila and it fit without any problems, so at least that part was straightforward. I also got the receipt by email quickly, which was nice to have for reference.
Swapping the filter was super easy and probably took me about 2 minutes. The only downside was that shipping felt a little slow, and the price seemed kind of high for something that is basically just a filter.
Overall, it works and I don’t really have any major complaints, but I do wish the reminder emails and buying process were a bit clearer. Not bad, just kind of average for me

"Setup was fine, but not as easy as they make it sound"
I got it set up in the end, but I wouldn’t say it was as smooth as the company makes it sound in their instructions. You know how they always write like everything is going to be quick and seamless? Yeah, not exactly. Most of the steps made sense, but I had to go back and redo a couple things, and it took a while before it actually connected properly. It wasn’t a disaster or anything, just needed more patience than I expected. Overall, average setup experience

"Auto mode is honestly solid"
I usually just leave my Mila on auto and let it do its thing. When cooking smells start up, it kicks in quickly, then settles back down and gets quiet again after a bit. It’s not perfect every single time, like with that one smell that lingers for whatever reason, but overall I’m happy with it.

"Air definitely feels cleaner now"
Ive been using it for a bit and the air in the room really does feel fresher. Im noticing way less dust around, which is great. The only thing is the app can be annoying sometimes, but the purifier itself works good.

Getting Mila set up on wifi was no drama. The app found it right away, and it stayed connected even after I moved it into another room. I haven’t had any random drop-offs so far, which is a relief. I guess I’m just a bit disappointed that this is the part I’m most impressed by, since I was hoping the overall experience would feel a little more exciting.

I bought mine from milacares.com after way too much time comparing options. it works well and the filters aren’t a hassle, so I can’t really complain about that part. But the upfront price still stings, and that’s on them — it feels like they could’ve made it a little easier to swallow. I’m happy with it overall, just irritated that buying it had to hurt my wallet that much at the start.

Well... I ordered from milacares.com and the shipping ended up being faster than I expected. I got the tracking email quickly, and it kept updating normally the whole way.
The package showed up in good condition, with nothing damaged or missing. the whole thing was easy and stress-free, which was exactly what I was hoping for

I compared my Mila with a separate meter because I wondered if it might be nudging the numbers to make the air quality look better or worse than it really was. But the readings were almost exactly the same, so I’m a lot more confident trusting it now.

It does make odors less noticeable, and my allergies might be a little better, but I was expecting more for the price. It’s not bad, just not as impressive as I hoped. Also, it seemed to work better some days than others, and that part was weird.

"Pretty happy with the Mila app overall"
Bottom line: I’d give the Mila app 4 stars. I’ve been happy with it overall, and it works well for me most days. It’s simple to use, setup was quick, and I like being able to check my air quality right from my phone. The only downside is that every now and then it takes a little while to refresh or connect, which can be annoying, but it hasn’t been a big enough issue to ruin the experience
